Our short workshop goes through the build of a Glamping pod using basic carpentry skills. Eco pods are used for glamping, garden rooms and extra rooms to a home. They have a small footprint and can be fitted out with all the necessary equipment to live in comfortably.

About the event

There are very few courses available that teach you how to build a glamping pod or a Shepherds hut. This is why we decided to offer this introductory workshop. Buying glamping pods or Shepherds huts or any substantial timber building comes with a price tag, so learning how to build your own is a great way to save money. 

On our short workshop, you will Learn how to utilise the latest in cnc cut framing, to achieve the desired result without breaking the bank.

What you will learn:

Basic health & safety including PPE

Basic carpentry with hand tools and power tools to achieve great results.

Framing - This will take most of the day

Membranes - discussion on membranes and how to apply them

Cladding - discussion & practical examples on types and how to apply them

This is a one day workshop and is non residential.

0930 – 1730 daily 

1230pm break for (bring your own) lunch

Course fee includes any required PPE for the course and course materials
